Like. A. Boss.
This month’s Glam Bag has arrived! Like A Boss is the theme for this month and includes a studded black matte makeup bag. I love how sophisticated this bag looks and feels!
I can’t believe this is my third delivery already, and I am pleased with everything I got!
Here is a breakdown of this month’s products:
- Manefit Lily Whitening and Brightening and Mugwort Astringent Pore Care sheet masks
- Luxie 207 Medium Angled Shading brush in Rose Gold
- Elizabeth Mott POP! Goes the Shadow in shade Toasted
- Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance primer
- Hanalei Papaya Enzyme powder cleanser
I was a bit skeptical of the Hanalei powder cleanser because I have never used or really heard much of powder cleansers. Much to my surprise though it transformed instantly from a white powder to suds! It did it’s job and cleaned my face very well and I have to say, I am shocked by it!
I also really love the Elizabeth Mott eyeshadow. I like the comic like design on the packaging and the eyeshadow itself is very buttery and goes on the skin effortlessly!
Here is a swatch of Toasted
This is another brand that I don’t know much about either. But so far so good! These are my favorite eyeshadow colors and I always end up reaching for neutrals like this shade even though I own some more edgy colors like the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette with all of the ambers and reds.
The Smashbox primer is an item that I was hoping to get after seeing spoilers for this bag. I am really into primers lately, and I like that this one gives a glowy dewy look to my skin. It reminds me a little of the L’Oreal Lift primer that I have and also love. It doesn’t leave a tacky feeling on the skin and rubs in smoothly and easily.
I have also developed a little makeup brush obsession lately, so of course I was happy to get the Luxie angled shadow brush! I love the rose gold color of the handle since most all of my current brushes are black and white! The bristles are super soft and I like to use it to blend my eyeshadow deeper into the crease.
The sheet masks from Manefit were also included in my bag, but I never really cared for using them. My daughter loves them so I may just give them to her. From the ipsy app, these masks were chosen by Charlotte Cho, cofounder of Soko Glam. The Lily mask is supposed to brighten, hydrate and amp up skin’s clarity while the Mugwort exfoliates and moisturizes. If I decide to use these I will post a review!
I am happy with this month’s bag overall, my faves being the Luxie brush, Elizabeth Mott eyeshadow and the Smashbox primer!
