I have been endlessly practicing my cut crease skills over the past month or so and I think I finally got the hang of it!
I wanted to switch things up a little today, so I used my long abandoned Blinc Electric Eyes palette from July’s BoxyCharm. I think I avoided using this palette because at first I felt intimidated by it in some odd way. The colors are so bold and shimmery that I thought I couldn’t pull it off….but this morning I made it work!
I used my MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre for a base and set with Too Faced Born This Way loose powder.
I skipped a transition shade.
I went in with my Morphe 578 Pencil Crease brush with Rhodoni and blended into the crease.
I tried to keep this shade as far away from my lid as possible, but went in again with the MAC and carved out a more definitive cut crease.
I packed on Sphene on my entire lid and added some Vanadini on the outer lid using e.l.f. Smudge brush.
I know its common to add shadow to the lower lash line but it doesn’t look right on me! No matter what I try, it seems to drag my eyes down like I haven’t slept or something.
Let me know what you think! 😘
