October BoxyCharm Spellbound Reveal & Review

Spellbound is the theme for October

Another great box from BoxyCharm this month!

Dr Brandt PoreDermabrasion Pore Perfecting Exfoliator (Value $58)

I’m guessing this took the place of the usual eyeshadow palette being that it’s the most expensive item. I’m gonna be honest here, when I first saw this as a spoiler I was disappointed because I wanted makeup lol. Now that I have it and have used it, I actually like it! It has a fresh minty scent and you just rub into your skin then let it sit and “activate” for a minute or two then rinse. It actually felt like it got cooler during the activation period and when I rinsed it off I was left with soft skin!

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Powder in Proseco Pop (Retail $38)

This highlighter had me from the start! I was so excited to see it in the spoilers because of course who doesn’t love a good high end blinding highlight!?

Look at that gold bling!! It easily glides on your skin and you can do it however subtle or blinding you want!

Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in “Front Row” (Retail $20) & Jonteblu Lip Liner Pencil (Retail $5)

Tarte never disappoints! This lippy quickly dried and stayed put all day even with drinking and eating! I love this Front Row shade, it is a dusky rose color that flatters my complexion nicely! This is usually the shade range I fall back on.

Now I never use lip liners, but this one from Jonteblu matches the tarte lippy perfectly and easily draws on! I had never even heard of this brand before but I am impressed!

Dirty Little Secret Illusion Eyeshadow Crayon (Retail $14)

Another brand I really haven’t heard much about. This crayon is bronze with gold undertones and is a multitasker since you can either use it as eyeshadow, a highlighter, or even an eyeshadow base! I like the shimmery color and the creaminess of the formula, it goes on effortlessly!

Total Value of October’s Box: $135!

Fave items: BECCA, tarte and Jonteblu!

I have been following the website, My Subscription Addiction since signing up for monthly boxes, and at first the spoilers were showing that some variants of the box would get a nail kit. I kinda panicked because I have a million of those things laying around at home and even some at work and in my car so thats the last thing I need. I am glad I got this variation!

If you want to sign up, it is $21 a month with free shipping, CLICK HERE!
