Hello beautifuls! I have been obsessing over the new tartelette Toasted palette since it was launched. I kept adding it to my cart then hesitating at the checkout because I was afraid it was going to be a dupe of the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette. Finally after non stop contemplating, I bit the bullet and ordered it. I am so happy I did.
Although it has the red/amber tones like Heat, it is actually different. This one leans more toward orange and brown while Heat is more red and terra cotta like.
I think what initially drew me to this palette was the theme and the names of the shades. I love fall and this is pretty much fall in a palette!
The shade “crackle” is a unique deep brown that has these beautiful golden glitter flecks in it! (See top shade in swatch above)
Here is the look I am wearing today using shades warmth, fireside, flame, and candle:
They blend so well and are highly pigmented. The shade warmth was a little powdery but a good tapping of your brush will do the trick! Come on fall, I’m ready for you!
I bought this from Sephora for $46 and it’s totally worth it!
The rest of my Sephora order:
I freaking love shopping on this site. Its a dangerous place for makeup junkies like myself!
I redeemed 200 VIB points and chose the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment in starwoman, and a tube of First Aid Beauty Coconut Smoothie Priming Moisturizer because I can’t get enough of it!
This is my very first NARS lipstick and its great! I am getting into wearing bold lip colors lately and this shade is a deep red. I’m wearing it in the pic above. I love that it dries fast and it basically budge proof and the pointed slim applicator makes lining and filling in lips much easier than thick ones!
I also used a promo code since I spent $45 or more I got a free bag with tons of skincare samples!!! The makeup bag is similar to the size and quality of an ipsy bag–and it was free, so…
There are mostly Korean skincare brands and some Dr. Jart and belief samples! Can’t wait to start using these! Reviews to come.
