BoxyCharm November-Review

Time for another Boxy review!  November’s theme was “Sweater Weather.”

The items that were included in the box were:

  • Winky Lux Kitten Palette
  • Luxie – 4 mini brushes
  • CoverFX Illuminating Setting Spray
  • LAQA Cloud Lips in shade “Storm”
  • KNC Beauty Collagen Infused Lip Masks x3

Kitten Palette- Value $25

I am really loving this palette!  The cute kitty design on the front of the packaging speaks to me, because I have always been a major cat lover!  Each shadow is nicely pigmented and they blend well.  There are 4 different finishes: holographic, matte, satin, and glitter.

Here are a couple looks I did with it:

Used shades: “Cheshire, Cateye, and Strut”
Used shades “Boots, Holographic, Duchess”

I love that you can do either a fierce bold look or a simple and sweet look with this!

Luxie Beauty Mini Brushes- Value $32

I love how small these little brushes are!  They are so cute and perfect to toss in your bag when on the run. I have been using the flat one for nose contouring.  I have used the other brushes for blending and so far so good, Luxie Beauty has really good quality brushes.

CoverFX Illuminating Setting Spray- Value $31

We all know CoverFX is good- and this setting spray is as awesome as a setting spray can be.  I have mainly been a faithful user of MAC Fix + for a while now, but I really like how this spray mists out of the bottle gently.  It doesn’t come out like a water hose- just nice puffs of mist, and it dries quickly too.  I don’t notice any “illumination” going on, but I like it.

LAQA Cloud Lips- Value $17

I don’t know if I really care for this so much.  I love wearing strictly matte lipstick, and this is more of a regular type to me.  I also noticed that the color faded after a little bit, which I can’t have!

Shade “Storm”

KNC Beauty Collagen Lip Masks- Value $15

This is where I think I am doing something wrong- every time I “attempt” to use one of these.  How does it stay put?  Are you supposed to like inhale the middle piece to make it stick? Lay down?  I feel like its not doing anything for me, because it takes a lot of effort to keep still on my lips.  Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know.  I like the concept, I like the jelly texture, but I don’t get any noticeable results.

This month has a total value of $120.  My favorite items are the eyeshadow palette, the brushes and the setting spray.  I can live without the lipstick and lip masks.

If you want to join in, the monthly cost is $21 and you can Click Here to sign up!
