Review: Sweet Lemon Candy Mask

Sweet Lemon Candy Mask by “Candy O’Lady” I need a name like that LOL

Somehow this post got deleted from my blog last night and all my changes were completely lost!

I got this in my November Facetory box and the packaging screamed for my attention! I love all things dessert, so yeah.

Craving something sweet but don’t want the extra calories? Well this sweet lemon candy mask will surely satisfy your craving with its amazing benefits for your skin. This thin microfiber mask is filled with essence that is made with active and healthy ingredients such as niacinamide, allantoin, and trehalose that will work to protect your skin and lock in the moisture it needs. This mask will brighten your skin and make it feel fresh like lemons and bright like limes.

Experience

This mask reminded me of the scent of LemonHeads candy.  Very sweet and lemony.  The eye cutouts were way to narrow for me and the mask itself was very tight fitting, almost too small.  I struggled trying to stretch it to fit my face comfortably without ripping it.  I left it on for 15 minutes, as I do with most all sheet masks, even though it was very hard to talk or anything else while wearing it.  After removing it and patting in the excess essence, I applied my normal night serum and moisturizer and my skin felt super oily!  I hate that oily feeling!  However the next morning, my skin looked more even toned and brighter and was no longer icky and greasy.

Pros

  1. Smells good
  2. Moisturizing
  3. Very cute packaging
  4. Evened out my skin tone

Cons

  1. Not great fitting, eye cut outs way too narrow
  2. Immediate results gave me oily feeling skin

Overall this mask was ok.  Not as great as I was hoping.  This is why I love this subscription— it’s cheap, only $8.90 a month and I get to try all sorts of different brands and I love that!

If you are interested in joining, the Four-Ever-Fresh kit is $8.90 a month and you get 4 masks a month, then they have the Seven-Lux box where you get 7 higher functioning masks such as rubber and ampoule ones that are usually more pricey, and it is around $18 a month or so.  I get the 4 mask pack, and that’s enough for me at the moment, because I usually only have one “mask night” a week.
