Review: Garnier Whole Blends Moroccan Argan & Camellia Oils

Garnier Whole Blends Moroccan Argan & Camellia Oils Illuminating Shampoo and Conditioner

Now you all know me and how I feel about hair care products, I am totally lost on hairstyles, I wear my hair pulled up in a bun just about every minute of my life, and I never really got in to doing hair.  I also trim and color my hair myself.

I color my hair pretty regularly, to cover these stray gray hairs I am starting to see, and over the summer I decided I wanted to take the plunge and bleach my hair at home.  Big mistake is all I can say about that- my hair was this tangerine orange shade, and yeah… So my hair is damaged you could say.   Some shampoos tend to make my hair feel almost waxy, especially clear shampoos for some reason, so I’ve always leaned toward using creamier shampoos.  When I decided to pick this Whole Blends shampoo up, I was skeptical about how it would work since it’s clear.  But I figured since it has “oil” on the label, maybe it would work!

I’ve also never been a huge fan of Garnier’s hair products, so I didn’t expect to be so taken with this stuff.  I decided to grab the Moroccan products, since I have had great experiences with things containing this.

Both have this amazing natural oily nutty scent, it’s hard to explain in words.  But it’s awesome and leaves my hair smelling like this for days!  ( I wash and condition my hair usually every 2 days.)  The shampoo lathers up and is easy to massage in, and rinses completely clean.  With the conditioner, I probably use more than directed, but I’m extra, so I really slap it on and leave it in while I do my other business in the shower.  I noticed right away after the first use, that my hair felt like 100% more soft, shiny, and even less tangled.  I also noticed that it doesn’t feel as damaged and brittle anymore, and the shampoo thankfully and much to my surprise doesn’t leave that waxy sensation.

I highly recommend trying the Whole Blends line if you haven’t already!  They have so many different blends available, I think I want to try the “Legendary Olive” next!  I also just got finished leaving a review on their website, which I rarely do, and told them they better never discontinue this line…lol

Here is the product descriptions from the Garnier site.
