Review: Physicians Formula Rosé All Day Serum

Physicians Formula Rosé All Day Oil Free Serum

Today I have another new Physicians Formula product to review!  I’ve been on an anti-aging skincare product kick lately, so this definitely stood out to me to try as soon as I could.  I need to say first of all that I have never really been that much of a Physicians Formula brand lover.  I never really cared for their eyeshadow palettes, I liked their bronzers and of course the new line of Butter Highlighters are awesome, but I really think they are starting to produce some really good stuff lately!

I actually found this serum in a mini size at Walgreens for around $6, and I’m so glad it  was offered as a trial size just in case I hated it and wasn’t out $15 for the full size bottle!

The benefits and description of this serum:

An anti-oxidant packed, oil-free, pearluminous formula that helps tighten and brighten skin for a radiant glow.

Enriched with Rose Water to help soothe, calm, and hydrate skin.  Formulated with antioxidant-rich Goji and Kakadu Plum – the richest Vitamin C source of any fruit.

It comes in a standard dropper style bottle.  I did notice that there isn’t any directions or description on this bottle about what the benefits are or how to use it though.

I love the fresh scent it has!  I was worried that it was going to be some overly powerful “old lady rose” scent, but to me it doesn’t smell like roses at all, its more like a fresh cucumber slash green tea like fragrance.

I wasn’t expecting the consistency of the serum to so thick, but it’s almost like a milky like substance with a pearly luminosity to it.

I use one drop on each cheek, one on my forehead and one on my chin.  It absorbs into my skin easily, and isn’t sticky or tacky at all.  I have been using this in the morning before priming and makeup, and have actually replaced my normal moisturizer with this, and so far so good!  It doesn’t affect my makeup and my face feels nice with it!

It is formulated with these skin loving ingredients:

  • Calming Rose Water
  • Brightening Kakadu Plum
  • Tightening Peptide Blend
  • Protecting Anti-Oxidant Goji

Overall, I really love this product and feel good about putting it on my face everyday.  I think it’s a cheaper alternative to some higher cost skincare products out there.  It sells for $14.95 for the full size 30ml bottle on the Physicians Formula website.  And if you look for it at your local Walgreens, you may be able to find the trial size like I did for around $6 to try out before you commit to the big bottle.

If you’ve tried this or are going to try it, let me know how you felt about it!
