Too Faced White Peach palette First Impressions
Good Monday morning! I went to Sephora this weekend, only planning to pick up some eye cream but of course came out with the White Peach palette from Too Faced.
This was totally an impulse buy. I was swatching it and it was just too dang pretty to not get. Makeup addict problems.
I like this palette because the colors are unlike any other I currently own. It’s a very soft set of shades, which I think are perfect for spring! Even the darkest shade “On the grill” is a very soft matte charcoal gray.
- Peach Cream: a matte, soft cream
- Peach Suede: a matte, dusty rose
- Peaches & Dreams: a shimmery, golden peach
- Crème De La Peach: soft coral with gold micro glitter
- Peach Sorbet: a matte, creamy peach
- Glistening Peach: a sparkly rose gold with golden shift
- Peach Smoothie: a matte, rosy taupe
- Sweet Fig: a matte, smoky mauve
- Peach Ice: a white shimmer with gold glitter
- Fuzzy: a matte, soft grayish taupe
- On The Grill: a matte, charcoal gray
- Peach Passion: deep orchid with blue and purple glitter
Of course I am living for that “Glistening Peach”! Here are some swatches I did, please ignore the messy vanity in the background lol. This palette is supposed to be complementary to the Peach Mattes palette also in the Peaches and Cream collection (which I don’t have).
The shadows are very soft, pigmented, silky and buttery and as always very easy to blend. The shimmers of course go on a lot better just patting it in with your finger, while the mattes are a dream to blend with a brush. So far I haven’t had an issue with fallout.
I can’t get enough of the peaches and cream scent either! I have other items from the Peaches and Cream collection and I have to say they are by far the best smelling makeup ever! I keep randomly sniffing the palette throughout the day. It’s HEAVEN!
From the Too Faced website this is the description:
Matte, shimmer, and glitter shades add dimension
Infused with refreshing Peach and Sweet Fig Cream
Sparkling peach, champagne, soft pink, and deep plum shades
As we all expect from Too Faced, it comes in the beautiful sleek compact, with two little peach shaped clasps to open it, and clicks closed by magnet. I like that its on the smaller side, so I can easily carry it with me.
Here is the first look I’ve done using this palette so far:
I used the shades Glistening Peach for the lid, Sweet Fig for darkening the crease, and Peach Smoothie as a transition.
All in all I’m really happy with this palette as I think it’s the perfect soft look for spring. It sells for $45 at Sephora, and I think it will last me a long time. I also think its great for everyday work wear too! And I may have to pick up the Peachy Mattes palette to go along with this!
What do you all think of this palette? Let me know!
