I’ve been MIA the past few days, mainly because I’m dealing with some kidney issues that I’m hoping to work through this week! Otherwise I am going to go nuts.
I thought I would do a shorter review than usual today on the Clinique Pep Start eye cream that I got a sample of a couple months ago from a Sephora Play box.
Full Description from Sephora.com
An instant brightening and hydrating eye cream that features a blend of peptides to help combat the visible effects of your busy life.
This lightweight eye cream provides a rush of hydration and instant brightening so you look and feel refreshed, wide awake, and ready for anything in as little as three seconds. Its cool touch and de-puffing tip help keep eyes looking fresh while smoothing the way for makeup. Plus, its peptides help support natural collagen reserves that can be threatened by stress, fatigue, and lack of sleep—the tell-tale signs of your busy life.
I really fell in love with this little tube of eye cream fairly quickly! I use it in the morning, and it feels great on my eye area. I love skincare products that give a burst of “wake up” in the mornings! For me, I can actually feel a faint, almost tingle like sensation after I put it on, that really does make me feel more awake. I don’t know if anyone else has experienced that, but it feels awesome like this cream is actually doing what it claims! The cream is lightweight, and unscented, and absorbs easily into the skin. I tried using the rounded tip applicator, but I didn’t notice much of a difference, so I just apply with my fingertip!
My eye area feels very refreshed and moisturized since using this, and I haven’t had any kind of adverse reactions to it like uncontrollable eye watering, or problems with it making my contacts irritated. I also haven’t had any problems with it interfering with my makeup either, if anything it actually helps my primer lay down better! The only thing I haven’t noticed is the brightening factor, although I’m not really certain what brightening is supposed to look like…lol.
I liked this so much that I recently bought the full size tube!
Have any of you tried this? Or what is your go to eye cream for a good morning rush?
Hoping to get through this week in one piece! lol
