Blinding: Tarteist Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter

Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter in “Exposed”

I know this is not a new release or anything, and I am behind on discovering this, but I got this highlighter in my April BoxyCharm, and haven’t been able to put it down since!

I received the shade “Exposed” which is described as a “nude, warm gold highlight.”  I’ve never played around with liquid highlighters like this before, but I really like it!  I use it with a damp beautyblender micro, and dot it on my cheekbones and it looks amazing and incredibly blinding!  Just be sure to work quickly- this stuff dries pretty fast!  Also, it lasts all day!

Excuse the unfinished eye look

I mean look at that glow!!!  And that pic is 100% real and unedited.  I feel like this tube will last me a long time, because you really only need a pea size amount to get extreme results!

Description from tarte.com

Glow like a goddess with this creamy highlighter that builds from sheer to intense magic. Ultra-concentrated pigments & pearls are suspended in the hybrid gel-cream, oil free formula that you can mix with your liquid foundation or wear alone for naturally lit luminosity. Infused with rose water, it slips softly onto skin & keeps moisture in with tapered, squeezable packaging to put the highlight exactly where you want it.

It says it can be mixed with foundation for an ultra radiant glow, but if you are anything like me (hello oily skinned girls) I really don’t want my whole face glowing, cheekbones, bridge of nose and browbone is just plenty!

At $29 a tube, I think this should be on everyone’s vanity!  Tarte has really wowed me with the intensity of their highlighters!  The one from the Hampton’s Weekender Contour Palette is equally intense.  So glad I have this baby!

Do any of you have this shade or different shades?

  1. I’ve received so many highlighters to review but like you, have not tried a liquid. I actually think I have one sitting in my box of samples ‘to review” but I’m pretty sure it’s not tartiest. I love a touch of gold and this looks great on your skin tone.

  2. I got the same shade! I like it a lot, which surprises me! I’ve never tried a liquid highlighter even though I have about 10 of them. I might even buy this one in a different shade! Great review, and it looks amazing on your skin! 🙂
